Analisis de pérdida de temperatura dentro de los ductos de aire acondicionado al interior de la cabina vehicular mediante análisis de computational fluids and dynamics (CFD)

El descenso de temperatura del flujo de aire dentro de un ducto de aire acondicionado a lo largo de su trayectoria obedece en cierta medida a fenómenos de transporte los cuales son: dinámica de fluidos y transferencia de calor. Tratándose del ámbito vehicular, resulta prioritario lidiar con este tipo de implicaciones debido a que existen variantes y configuraciones vehiculares, que conllevan a realizar cambios geométricos en los ductos como son: sección transversal, radio de aspecto y claros hacia otros componentes; lo cual contrasta con los objetivos marcados en cuanto a eficiencia del aire acondicionado se trate, evidenciando marcadas diferencias entre los parámetros establecidos y los efectos de la integración vehicular. Para el presente caso de estudio se realizó un análisis de CFD mediante el software ANSYS Fluent en el cual un ducto previamente caracterizado por medio de CAD, se variaron las velocidades del flujo de aire a la entrada al ducto, al llevar a cabo las iteraciones se identificó que las caídas de presión y temperatura a la salida del ducto, impactan directamente en la eficiencia del sistema de aire acondicionado traduciéndose a nivel vehicular en la reducción de carga de las baterías, impactando la autonomía del vehículo; repercutiendo en la confianza del cliente a la hora de adquirir un vehículo eléctrico.
